GOGO Magazine

Editor, Writer, Art Director, and Proofreader.

[2013-2016]

As the head of the editorial team, it was my job to create the content and visual identity for a magazine looking to reach a contemporary, wide audience covering topics ranging from arts, culture, design, fashion, social issues, etc.

Some of my tasks were:

  • Prepare and direct monthly editorial meetings with staff and collaborators and set priorities, concepts and ideas that would be eventually published.

  • Coordinate printing, distribution, and commercialization of around 10K issues every month.

  • Conceptualize a public, mainstream media brand with insightful visual language.

  • Constantly come up with stories to fill up the different communication channels (print, website, social media) and the editorial calendar in time.

  • Scout, cast, and work with talent. Leadership skills are some of my best assets from these years.

  • Proofread and create copies for every article, cover, and social media publication.

Freelance Journalism and Content Creation

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with magazines, digital media platforms, and brands in the creation of content that connects with an audience.
